Opportunity Overview
We are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer Intern / Co-op for Summer 2025 to work closely with the Mechanical Engineering Group, which is responsible for developing our Semiconductor Test Systems. As a member of Mechanical Engineering Group, the Mechanical Engineer Intern / Co-op will have their hands in many ongoing projects and day to day tasks. 

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern / Co-op, the candidate will apply their knowledge of Mechanical Engineering towards: 

  • Assisting in assembly and validation of Engineering prototypes
  • Executing lifecycle testing on equipment in the lab
  • Use SolidWorks to create parts, assemblies, and drawings
  • Participate in team meetings, and present quantitative and qualitative findings in an organized and professional manner
  • Managing and maintaining Mechanical Engineering lab space
  • The role is based out of our office in North Reading, MA and requires on-site presence
  • We are not able to provide relocation assistance
  • The Internship / Co-op duration is 3 months with a start date of June 2, 2025

  • Enrolled in a 4year accredited program, working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the creating SolidWorks drawings, parts, and assemblies
  • Knowledge of drafting and design standards (ANSI Y14.5 GD & T)
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new information
  • Ability to manage their time independently
  • Positive attitude
  • Enjoys hands on approach toward engineering

 

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.
