The Job:
As a Maintenance & Facilities Manager, you’ll be part of our Maintenance and Tool & Die team working as an onsite employee. You’ll get to:
- Acting as the primary guardian of workplace safety by enforcing OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards to ensure a zero-incident environment.
- Developing and implementing proactive maintenance plans, shifting the culture from reactive (break-fix) to Predictive (PdM) and Preventative Maintenance (PM) using data analytics.
- Maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and minimize unplanned downtime by troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and robotic systems.
- Recruit, train, and mentor maintenance technicians and supervisors; manage shift schedules and conduct performance evaluations.
- Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget, including forecasting costs for parts, labor, and major capital expenditures (CAPEX).
- Negotiate and manage contracts with external service providers and maintain an optimized inventory of critical spare parts.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to track work orders, asset history, and KPIs.

- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisor or management role.
- Thorough knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC systems.
- Self-starting, results-oriented individual who is team oriented.
- Effective organization, time management, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Able to handle multiple projects and priorities as well as deal with ambiguity.
- Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM), Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM) through AFE, or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) through SMRP (preferred).
- Willing to work additional hours to cover off shifts for communication rhythms.
