Job Description: 

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Database Administrator

Responsibilities include:

• Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases.
• Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management.
• Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
• Knowledgeable and experience in Ticket queue management and close collaboration with release management team and developers/testers.
• Ability to proactively monitor environments to ensure a stable and well-performing application.
• Able to work effectively in a client facing role and build a trusting relationship with major project stakeholders and lead them to adoption of the best solution.

Here's what you need:

• 5 years experience with general understanding of some of hte development tools such as:
  
  • Web frameworks like AngularJS, ReactJS, or ExtJS.
  • Code source control such as GIT.
  • Web application development and REST.
  • Development with C or C like languages.
  • Working in a Linux environment with an understanding of agile development.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience in Machine Learning algorithms.
• Experience with GO/Golang
• Experience with UX design
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL.
• Development of distributed systems.
• Use of static analysis, unit testing, and continuous integrations.
• Development of real time data applications.
• Handling more than 1 project concurrently.

Security Clearance:

• An active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.    

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role  

California: $122,600 - $198,800 

Colorado: $122,600 - $171,700 

New York City: $141,800 - $198,800

Washington: $160,500 - $182,800
