Finance Business Control (Graduate) Intern

We seek a Financial Controller to join our team. As part of the Corporate Finance team at Prosus headquarters in Amsterdam you are responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, to provide insights into the company's financial status and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and conducting financial analyses to identify trends and risks. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly and ad hoc analyses for Corporate Functions and Group.
• Maintaining the online expense tool, including training new colleagues, following up on any queries and monitoring timely reporting. Including quality checks on profiles.
• Assists in maintaining the corporate credit card program, including arranging new card and following up on any queries from card holders.
• Maintaining the accuracy of vendor masterdata.
• Supporting in general financial quiries relating to the General finance mailbox
• Contributing on process improvements and Robotic Process Automation

What will help you be successful in the role:

• Last phase of your university (HBO/WO) bachelor degree, preferably with a business, finance or economics background.
• An eye for detail and keen on working with numbers and data (analytical and accurate).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Available for at least 3 days per week.
