The expected base salary for this position ranges from $129,120 - $161,400. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors and considerations. In addition to base salary and a generous employee benefits package, employees are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.

General Description of the Role
In the role of Brand Manager, you will be the driving force behind the growth plans for French Icon and Legacy Brand: Grand Marnier, including its portfolio of marques. With an emphasis on Cordon Rouge and Louis Alexandre, we are looking for a candidate that can take this brand, with a rich history and French legacy, and make it synonymous with culture in the US.
Since its creation in 1880, Grand Marnier liqueur has been the iconic spirit of vibrant French lifestyle around the world. It’s made from the unique combination of the finest French cognacs and essence of exotic oranges. Our team is looking to take that iconic status to vibrant pockets of the US: Harlem, Houston, Atlanta, New Orleans, Chicago, Oakland & more!
In collaboration with the Category Director of French Icons you will build a fresh strategy for Grand Marnier that will capitalize on the brand’s high awareness metrics and strive to grow consideration and trial. You will have the opportunity to lead brand initiatives, talent partnerships, and creative platform development – all informed by consumer insights and P&L targets.
Experience marketing to a Black American consumer and building brands in culture is a must. You will be asked to identify opportunities to maintain and recruit multicultural consumers from competitive categories such as Liqueurs and Cognac, utilizing a strong cultural and lifestyle mindset.
Additionally, the ability to work collaboratively with cross functional local teams, global teams and lead multiple agencies to align stakeholders is a must. The ideal candidate will charismatically sell internal and external cohorts on our vision and execution plans for Grand Marnier.
The ideal candidate will understand business and brand building in competitive categories, if not spirits explicitly, lifestyle brands with a comparable consumer. Additionally, a love of music, fashion, and travel is a plus! A candidate that can shape local consumer communications while connecting plans across different marketing touchpoints will excel at this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Leads the development of Brand Planning and Strategy across all areas of Brand Management to deliver value, volume and market share growth goals while building short and long term brand image and equity.
- Diagnoses key issues and opportunities facing the portfolio and develops multi-year strategies to address these for the portfolio of brands.
- Leads annual integrated marketing and communication planning, and serves as brand(s) owner to ensure consistent brand strategy across all marketing touchpoints
- Has a deep understanding of the current and potential multicultural consumer, with an emphasis on Black American cognac drinkers, and translates the intel into a brand strategy and execution plans.
- Partners with Internal Media team to develop strategy recommendations while optimizing ROI.
