Role Summary/Purpose:
Assist the VP, Fair and Responsible Banking with the design, build and implementation of a program to further enhance the identification, monitoring and reporting of aggregate risk related to unfair, deceptive or abusive acts or practices (“UDAAP”). Further, this role will assist in the development and implementation of the UDAAP Risk Assessment and enhancements to the existing Fair Lending Risk Assessment.

Essential Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and implementation of a stand-alone UDAAP Risk Assessment as a supplement to the Compliance Risk Assessment, demonstrating the linkage of inherent risk, control environment and residual risk specific to UDAAP at the product level.
Assist in the enhancement of the existing Fair Lending Risk Assessment ("FLRA") through mapping of the regulatory defined inherent risk factors to fair lending laws and regulations.
Assist in standardizing risk assessment expectations and guidelines when identifying and mitigating fair and responsible banking risk associated with new products, clients, suppliers, capabilities and processes.
Assist with the review of the Fair and Responsible Banking Policy and supporting procedures.
In collaboration with other compliance subject matter experts, provide effective challenge and oversight as it relates to new and existing products, capabilities and processes for limited English proficiency customers. In addition, review and recommend changes as necessary to any business policies, procedures and guidelines associated with the origination and servicing of financial products for limited English proficiency consumers.
Assist in the development of communications and training materials to educate business leaders, employees and third party suppliers regarding fair and responsible banking.
Keep pace with the latest developments in the regulatory environment and the financial services industry to provide guidance as it relates to fair and responsible banking and the servicing of limited English proficiency consumers
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor Degree and 3+ years of risk management or compliance experience in financial services or in lieu of the Bachelors, a minimum of 5+ years of risk or compliance experience
Ability to interpret and apply various fair lending laws and regulations
Working knowledge of policies, procedures and operations related to fair lending
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point and Access)

Grade/Level: 10
The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post
