The Research Assistant (RA) for the Department of Neuroscience will perform data analysis, literature research, and implement computational methods in a research program centering around the motor execution of actions with different body parts

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Behavioral and neuroimaging data analysis.

  • Literature research.

  • Development of new computational analyses.

  • Documentation.

  • Writing research manuscripts.

Work Interactions

The RA will report directly to the PI, Dr. Striem-Amit, but will work collaboratively with other lab personnel, including graduate students and postdoctoral researchers.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A graduate (master's) degree in engineering, computer science, or an equivalent computational field

  • Programming abilities in Matlab, R or Python

  • Neuroscience research experience is an advantage

Pay Range

The projected hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $18.00 - $20.00. Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
