This position is for a PER DIEM Medical Assistant to assist in the CSC and is not specified to work in a particular division. What specialty you work with will be based on clinic needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position assists with the daily activities of a clinical site and facilitates the flow of patients by providing clerical and clinical health care support to patients and family under the direction of a provider. The position requires mastery of basic clinical activities and some advanced clinical activities.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational training in a relevant area preferred. CPR certification required.

EXPERIENCE:

One year experience providing or assisting in direct patient care required.
