Overview
This is a full-time, hybrid career opportunity based out of our Corporate Headquarters location in Lancaster, PA. Hours are 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
This role is responsible for managing the full spectrum of HR services and solutions functions with a heightened level of expertise. This role takes on all tasks assigned to other Administrator roles within the function and elevates them with advanced responsibilities including process improvement and cross-departmental and enterprise collaboration. Incumbents will ensure efficient and compliant execution of onboarding, assigned benefits administration, offboarding, and HR inquiries across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Full ownership of research, triage, and resolution of HR inquiries (Tier 2 & 3) that are presented through various communication channels. Includes but is not limited to the HR call center, HR ticketing, HR email, etc. Escalate complex inquiries to appropriate HR Specialist, while providing guidance and oversight to junior team members and Tier 1 inquiries. Oversee new employee orientation program, program changes, logistical support, and facilitation.
- Oversee the staff augmentation program for the enterprise. Manage vendor relationships and temporary staffing resources, ensuring a smooth onboarding process with the hiring manager. Adhere to the specialty vendor governance under the vendor risk management program. Provide financial reporting to accounting upon request. Ensure vendor pool is sufficient to meet the organization’s needs. Offboard underperforming vendors and research specialty vendor relationships as needed.
- Oversee scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs. Manage the tuition reimbursement program by reviewing requests and making informed reimbursement decisions. Coordinates all aspects of the organization’s Children of Employee’s Scholarship program, adhering to all aspects of the Trust Agreement.
- Support aspects of the HR compliance role. This includes backup support to the Compliance Training Program, gathering of information for internal audit, and ensuring team procedures are updated and align to departmental governance.
- Serve as the escalated point of contact for all Benefits inquiries. Provide direct assistance to the Benefits team in areas such as plan enrollment, deductions & 401(k) administration. Support open enrollment processes by addressing benefit inquiries and ensuring accurate information distribution during any part of the employee life cycle.
- Generate, monitor, and update reports using various HR systems; maintain detailed documentation in collaboration with the HR data team. Review data from the new hire and exit surveys. Address items within authority and escalate themes or concerns to manager for further review/escalation. Lead or participate in cross-functional HR projects and initiatives, ensuring successful execution of the project’s key initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities
- Fully cross-training in the Administrator roles and executing the essential functions of these positions as needed. Serve as the 2nd level approver for transaction processing.
- Coordinates for cause drug testing in partnership with the HR Business Partners, Employee Relations, and hiring managers.
- Coordinate HUB updates with assigned areas.
- Performs all duties assigned during M&A HR operations integration.
- Executes the background screenings and onboarding of advisory board, Fulton Bank board and Fulton Corporation Board candidates. Adjudicates the screenings and escalates when needed to the appropriate business line leader.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent. (Required)
Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Human Resources, Business Administration or Organizational Development. (Preferred)
Experience
3 or more years HR Administrator; progressive HR experience, ideally in high-volume/fast paced work environment. (Required)
1 or more years HR Generalist or Specialist in a call center environment. (Preferred)
Certifications
SHRM or PHR. (Preferred)
