Shift/Hours: Full-Time – 40 hours/week, First Shift

This position will work directly with physician committee chairs and members to design work plans & processes that will improve efficiencies of the division and improve overall patient care.  Under the direction of the HVI Leadership Dyad and working in collaboration with the Heart and Vascular Institute and Medical Director of HVI research, leads the utility, evaluation, and ongoing optimization of clinical information systems, technology, and analytics related to HVI and HVI Research while ensuring that organizational, regulatory, and clinical quality standards are met in accordance with the strategic directives of the system.  Liaison with St. Elizabeth core research department and ensure HVI research approaches are consistent and compliant with the Institutional research strategy and approach. Must demonstrates respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

Qualifications

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Healthcare Informatics, Bioinformatics, Mathematics/Statistics, or a related field

Specialized Knowledge: 

Medical Office experience

Hospital process and procedures

EPIC inpatient and ambulatory platforms

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word, Teams, & Access

Completion of QI600 (in first 6 months if not already complete)

Kind and Length of Experience: 

4 yrs. experience in diverse clinical settings including hospital and/or ambulatory environments specific to quality, analytics, and innovation
