Senior GenAI Data Engineer

Who we are

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end releases of data products with a focus on “GenAI and Data Engineering.” This role involves improving the existing portfolio with new products or extending features, ensuring they align with business goals, and handing over to global operations. The Senior Data Engineer should be capable of understanding the entire lifecycle of data products, from ideation and development to release and operational handover.

 

What you'll be doing

 

• Manage the full lifecycle of data products, including ideation, development, release, and operational handover
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure alignment with business goals
• Release new products and improve existing ones by adding new features or extending current capabilities
• Identify opportunities for enhancement with a strategic mindset
• Ensure alignment with business objectives through effective coordination with different teams

 

What you'll bring along

 

• University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science,  or a related field 
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL (Javascript/Typescript is a plus)
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud environment and services (e.g., AI Service, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics)
• Experience with Azure Cognitive Services and other AI/ML frameworks
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and big data technologies
• Familiarity with GenAI models such as LLM and natural language processing techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of data & AI governance and data security best practices
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on building and managing ETL pipelines
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of LLM and RAG solutions is preferred
