Device and xSIM Engineer

A Device and xSIM Engineer role. We are based in Lisbon and work in a 'Hybrid' set up, eg 3 days working from home.

You will be part of a development team accountable for the Devices and xSIMs tests and certification. These tests are part of the service quality we provide to our customers.

We run a multi site platform, following strict security requirements, provide the service to customers around the word and manage millions of subscriber profiles. Position Responsibilities

* Performing acceptance tests in the new software device releases

* Guarantee non-regressions tests with the subsequent minor or major releases

* Validate the devices from Manufacturers or from Costumers

* Assessment and interoperability at the customer Onboarding with their own devices if are working properly with our services (Multi-IMSI, OTA, RSP...)

* Run tests in live and lab environment

* Supporting internal teams with customer's addressed issues

* Executing and assure above responsibilities on Smartphones and IoT devices

Requirements

* More than three years of prior experience on mobile device field testing

* Should have Good Knowledge/Experience in Mobile testing/Drive Testing/Device Testing/ Field Testing

* Good knowledge/Experience with iOS and Android mobiles

* Knowledge on log tool, Mediatek, Spreadtrum, INTEL or QUALCOMM chipset

* Should have knowledge on 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G technologies

* Good knowledge of VoLTE, VoWiFi services

* Should have knowledge with AT-Commands to execute actions on IoT devices

* Knowledge in Network signaling flows

* Knowledge with SIM cards protocols like APDUs is an advantage

* Knowledge with scripting languages (python, perl,...) is an advantage
