Under the supervision of the Tradition Campus Business Services Director, this role answers incoming calls, greets visitors, assists students with various supportive needs, and manages reception desk. This role will also assist the Financial Aid and Business Offices to complete daily tasks and assist students with accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities

Assists the university in implementing the Statement of Purpose.
Assists the university in implementing the long-range institutional and financial plans.
Greets and assist guests on the Tradition Campus.
Answers incoming telephone calls and direct calls to the appropriate office.
Assists with campus mail delivery by placing incoming mail in faculty and staff mailboxes each day and with preparing mail to be sent to the Hattiesburg campus
Provides front-line support for the Financial Aid and Business Offices by answering incoming phone calls and directing inquiries as needed.
Assists the Financial Aid Counselor and the Business Office Coordinator in responding to student account questions and resolving routine student inquiries as needed.
Assists with program goals and objectives; prepare and submit relevant reports when necessary.
Consults with faculty and other staff to assist students in academic/student services or other areas as needed.
Participates in campus events and represent the university to prospective students.
Participates in an annual evaluation.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
Associate’s degree in a related field
Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office
Excellent customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Experience in higher education setting
Physical Demands
Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting, and to use standard office equipment including a computer
Must have vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone
Must have the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Must have strength and agility to move files, paper boxes, and minor office equipment
Must be able to maintain office hours and perform duties in an on-campus setting
