Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
TDB Communications, Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Human Resources Business Partner to continue to make a positive impact with our employees. This is a full-time position on-site in Chester, Virginia.
- As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will be a member of the HR team, reporting directly to a Senior HRBP. You will serve as a partner to TDB Communications within the organization, providing HR guidance and support to ensure the achievement of organizational goals.
- Collaborate with business leaders to align Human Resource initiatives with company objectives and company strategy.
- Provide advice on personal matters, including performance management, employee development, and organizational impacts.
- Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution:
- Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues, working to resolve work based related conflicts and promote a positive work environment.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and other employee-related matters.
- Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
- Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to support the recruitment process, ensuring the selection of top talent and compliance of hiring practices.
- Facilitate onboarding experiences for new hires, ensuring they are integrated seamlessly into the organization.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs within the business unit(s) and collaborate with HR team to initiate compliance and relevant training programs.
- Support career development and succession planning efforts to nurture employee growth and retention.
- Compliance and Policy Adherence:
- Ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements, providing guidance on HR-related compliance matters.
- Conduct periodic audits to verify compliance with HR practices and regulations.
Duties:
- Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attend and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and innovative technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least two years of human resource management experience preferred.
- HR certification is a plus.
