About the team

Our Search Operations team focuses on providing operational support for TikTok's search optimization, user demands and search quality. Our Search Quality Assurance have deep knowledge of data labelling, search strategies optimizations platforms and provides policy guidelines to the search specialist.



Our team performs a critical function that supports our efforts to address objectionable or disturbing content. The content that the Search Strategy Operations interacts with includes images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals



Responsibilities

- Responsible for core Prod ops metrics and optimization of search recommendation strategy in global markets, evaluating and analyzing search needs/market preference/strategy effectiveness, improve both search usage and experience

- Manage regional user feedback for search recommendations, take actions and record cases for periodical analysis to improve user experience accordingly

- Work closely and flexibly with Search PM and RD teams as well as data delivery teams and XFN stakeholders to achieve product targets together
