THE ROLE
BCW is seeking to hire an experienced Vice President or Senior Vice President to play a leadership role on a varied portfolio of clients requiring depth of experience across employee engagement, change management, executive visibility, media relations strategy, and large account/team management. The VP/SVP of Corporate Affairs and Employee Engagement will develop overarching client strategies, providing senior-level counsel around internal- and external-facing strategic campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have public relations agency experience managing F500 clients in industry sectors such as finance, retail, healthcare, professional services and technology.
This is an opportunity to provide critical counsel to organizations facing innovation and change management issues.
THE WORK
·Strategic development and execution of complex programs that contribute to positive client reputation both internally and externally.
·Manage the development of employee communications initiatives and campaigns, inclusive of written content, internal feature stories and executive communications.
·Help shape and implement a consistent voice and story for client leadership and company communications across all platforms, internal and external.
·Develop engaging employee-focused content to support community engagement programs such as volunteering, health, purpose, sustainability and wellness initiatives.
·Effectively manage a range of internal client organizational changes.
·Oversee execution of media relations and executive visibility efforts that drive awareness, interest, and support of companies’ reputation in the marketplace and workplace.
·Maintain strong client relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and opportunities for growth.
·Create and foster positive and authentic employee experiences, ultimately influencing growth, retention, and internal corporate sentiment
QUALIFICATIONS
·10-15 years of experience, ideally including experience within a PR agency environment.
·Excellent oral and written communication skills including copywriting, editing and creative concept development.
·Experience leading internal and external communications campaigns for complex, large-scale accounts with team members in multiple locations.
·Track record of multi-pronged communications strategies designed to achieve awareness.
·Focused and inclusive manager of people and teams
·Proven success working on wide-spread integrated campaigns
·Passion, sense of urgency and attention to detail on large accounts with significant and constant moving parts
·Strong leadership qualities and client-facing skills
