As a Security Officer Foot Patrol in LOS ANGELES, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and customer support activities appropriate for a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including providing direction to occupants, communicating with site contacts, and assisting with orderly incident response procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
