Position Overview:
The Regional Director (RD) is responsible for providing leadership, motivation, accountability, and development of MasterCorp personnel within the assigned region and ensuring assigned sites are consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards along with budget objectives. This position is responsible to develop and maintain a professional and effective relationship with all resort management, vendors, and service providers to MasterCorp, and its clients. As well, the RD’s purpose is to develop and maintain a high level of communication and spirit of partnership with site management teams, regional and corporate personnel. The Regional Director must ensure Company mission statement and values are followed, always motivated by the best interests of the Company, its employees, and customers. The RD develops and maintains a high standard of excellence at each site within division and creates and establishes plans to ensure each site is meeting and/or exceeding established goals and objectives. The RD ensures site contractual obligations, company policies and procedures are followed, and inspires a positive culture at each site.

- Take ownership for the successful operation of assigned properties working collaboratively with business partners to ensure KPIs and other performance goals are achieved
- Enable direct reports to ensure proper inventory of tools and chemicals is always maintained; ensure equipment is in good operating condition, rotating out in accordance with replacement schedules/plans
- Provide routine updates to leadership meeting frequency and information expectations established
- Act as a change leader and champions organizational changes to achieve short and long-term goals and objectives
- Conduct site visits based on Company directives.
- Monitor the key performance indicators of Quality, Timeliness and Budget, and help site management achieve. targets. Holds teams accountable for measurable results and develop action plans with teams if key metrics aren’t being achieved.
- Create an overall people plan for the region that reflects bench strength and succession planning coupled with consistent mentoring and people development.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to create recruiting strategies for each site - monitoring staffing levels and communicating that strategy to site management, Field Recruiters and Division HR Director to ensure staffing levels are achieved and maintained well before high demand.
- Coach site managers to provide a quality work experience for team members through correct selection, onboarding, training, and employee rewards and recognition programs; leverage business partners in Learning and Development and Field HR when necessary.
- Interview, select, onboard, and oversee training of Executive Housekeepers and Assistant Executive Housekeepers.
- Manage performance of management teams, including evaluating, coaching, developing, and disciplining management members as needed.
- Ensure properties have a welcoming culture of engagement and inclusion.
- Provide timely response to associate concerns by addressing them directly or referring them to others who can assist.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback to direct reports; conduct “skip-level” meetings with indirect reports.
- Consistently enforces established policies and procedures.
- Ensure established policies and procedures are carried out as defined, including but not limited to; MasterTalks, STS, grooming/uniform standards, new hire onboarding/orientation, “7-steps to clean” training, etc.
- Enable monthly and quarterly meetings to engage with team, including Housekeeper Councils and “all-hands” meeting
