Position Description:Redhorse Corporation is currently seeking a Product Manager to join our team to play a major role in discovery and capture of user and customer needs and shaping and validation of our Condition Based Management (CBM) solution. The Product Manager will be an expert who will guide, design, execute, and advise others in user studies, interviews, surveys, success metrics and measurement, use case development, and roadmap planning. They will serve as a key connection between customers, users, partners, business development, and engineering and delivery, generate and validate hypotheses, and ensure that the program delivers what matters, in the right way, to the right stakeholders. This position will be based in our National Capital Region offices in the Rosslyn neighborhood of Arlington, VA, with opportunities for remote work to be determined by the program manager and customer.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build exceptional understanding of user and customer needs and solutions within the CBM and maintenance (Mx) space in DoD and beyond to include knowledge of what happens in the field and can contextualize it against military strategic priorities, such as those conveyed in the National Defense Strategy or service specific strategies.
- Serve as a critical mentor and advocate for data-driven decision making for the purpose of identifying customer, user, and business impact and value and steering the direction of the CBM solution and program.
- Act as an advocate for the user by keenly understanding their pain points and needs, prioritizing user experience and user progress in solution delivery activities.
- Translate and communicate stakeholder needs to delivery and engineering teams.
- Generate and communicate hypotheses, requirements, and priorities that are discovered through user and customer engagement in all its forms.
- Help shape engagement strategy to capture data to validate hypotheses and effectiveness, identify gaps and changes in needs and culture.
- Develop, guide, and prioritize use cases, feature proposals, and roadmaps along with their success and value metrics.
- Effectively and empathetically work with and bridge interests and priorities of a large multidisciplinary stakeholder base, to include data scientists, engineers, Mx subject matter experts, partner companies, users, customers, business developers, etc.
Minimum Basic Preferred Skills, Experience, Educations and Credentials:
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical or mathematics disciplines; an additional Master of Business Administration (MBA) a plus.
- 5+ years professional experience in a Product Management, Engineering or Technology Strategy role
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance up to the Top Secret/SCI level.
- Able to travel as needed to meet with government customers and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills, Experience, Educations and Credentials:
- Knowledge of product management principles and practices.
- Skilled in data analysis for purpose of measuring feature demand and product success within enterprises and large customers such as the Department of Defense.
- Experience in running user studies, design sprints, surveys, and interviews.
- Proven experience in managing enterprise products and/or solutions.
- Human centered design and organizational science experience a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and influencing skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships.
- Understand markets, competition, and customer/user requirements in depth.
- Technical fluency and ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts, technical designs, schedule tradeoffs, and new opportunities with technical team members.
- Experience working on enterprise products such as SaaS, data pipelines, or business intelligence/analytics implementation experience.
- Experience with product management of Data Science and/or AI-driven solutions is a plus.
- Experience with DoD and/or domain experience in Predictive Maintenance/CBM a plus.
