Senior Advanced Design Drafting Technician (GovCon Experience Preferred)- Remote

Position Overview: 
As a Senior Advanced Design Drafting Technician, you will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate technical drawings and designs that meet project specifications and ASME standards. Your experience with Pro-E/Creo or SolidWorks will be essential in developing high-quality designs. Experience with government contracting is a plus. This position is a 3 month contract to hire and is fully remote.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Drawing and Design:
• Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and models using Pro-E/Creo or SolidWorks software.
• Ensure all designs adhere to ASME standards and project specifications.
• Develop and modify drawings based on engineering input and feedback.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and constraints.
• Communicate design concepts and modifications clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance:
• Perform thorough reviews and checks of drawings and designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Identify and resolve design issues or discrepancies.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and associated documentation.
• Prepare and submit reports on design progress and project status.
• Project Management:
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as necessary.
