Senior Information Systems Security Officer

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a highly qualified Sr. Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in support to the upcoming LONG-RANGE ENTERPRISE INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE, AND RECONNAISSANCE ACTIVITY (LEIA) in Honolulu, HI.  As part of a highly talented, motivated, team, you will support a fast-paced program delivering a broad spectrum of Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber Defense, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR) capabilities to support SOCPAC missions and it’s AORs. ******POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD********** Duties and responsibilities include: The Senior ISSO will be responsible for the day-to-day security operations of the LEIA information systems including but not limited to:  

 

• Ensure the day-to-day implementation, oversight, continuous monitoring, and maintenance of the security configuration, practices, and procedures for each IS
• Support the Authority to Operate (ATO) processes
• Ensure that selected security controls are implemented and uploaded to eMASS and/or Xacta
• Ensure that system security documentation is developed, maintained, reviewed, and updated on a continuous basis
• Review vulnerability scans and DISA STIG assessments
• Develop Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs) and coordinate corrective actions or mitigations and track the timely completion of (POAMs)
• Ensure that changes to an IS, its environment, and/or operational needs that may affect the authorization status are reported to the system owner and IS Security Manager (ISSM)
• Lead the Incident Response process

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA or 12 years with a HS Diploma. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
• Possess  DoDM 8140.03- Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II Baseline Certification
• Risk Management Framework and Assessment and Authorization processes and related policies
• Familiarity with cloud computing and related security concepts
• Working knowledge of digital communications and related IT communications technologies
• Direct experience with patch management, continuous monitoring, and vulnerability scanning/remediation activities
• Proactive and forward-leaning

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience as an ISSM, ISSO, ISSE with USSOCOM

• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
