Key Responsibilities

Hartzell Propeller LLC. seeks a Waste Water Treatment Technician to maintain the waste water treatment system.

Key Deliverables of the Position

1) Maintain the waste treatment system to ensure compliance with all regulations

2) Develop and maintain preventative maintenance program for waste treatment

3) Directly support and be primary backup for the plating laboratory technician  

Typical Activities

1) Clean probes, sensors, meters and controls.

2) Check waste treatment chemical tanks and make necessary adjustments

3) Check plating scrubbers and filters per maintenance manual

4) Inspect and inventory waste drums, storage and racks

5) Perform waste water analysis

6) Perform maintenance on pumps, scrubbers, exhaust systems and tanks as required

7)  Perform inspection and planned maintenance on all primary and support  systems for plating, waste treatment and other environmental systems.

Requirements

Requirements

Required Experience

High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 1 year related experience.

Required Technical Competencies

1) Experience with Standard Laboratory Techniques

2) Proficient Computer Skills (MS Office and Outlook) 

3) HAZWOPER training experience is preferred

4) Ability to lift up to 50lbs
