SoftOne is looking for an experienced Senior Systems Admin to join our team.

Your contribution to the success of the team

• Maintaining infrastructure efficiency, reliability, availability and performance
• Ensure design/configuration of system allows all components to work properly together. 
• Troubleshoot problems reported by users. 
• Make recommendations for future upgrades.
•  Maintain, audit network and system security. 
• Monitor networks and systems to ensure integrity, security and availability for users. 
• Provide feedback to the director to assist in planning for future needs 
• Identify user needs, new infrastructure requirements, potential improvements within scope of responsibility.
• Assign, maintain and remove access rights in accordance with the company security policy and requirements.
• Maintain documentation on system configurations, performance, availability, etc in accordance with company policy.
• Administer servers, routers, switches, firewalls, software deployment, security updates and patches. 
• 1st Level support Telephony Systems.
• 1st level support Softone Azure Infrastructure.
• Provide 2nd level support to customers on behalf of the Support Department within the scope of:
  - Network connectivity/performance
  - Database server/database issues & optimization
  - Azure infrastructure/connectivity/performance issues and queries
  

Your Qualifications & Competencies

• Familiarity with HP/Dell server and storage systems
• Familiarity with network and security devices (switches, firewalls etc)

• Microsoft Hyper-V setup/administration
• VMware vSphere/ESXi setup/administration
• Windows desktops support
• Windows server setup/administration
• Microsoft office
• Microsoft SQL setup/administration/basic programming/scripting for application data checking
• Active directory administration (Windows/Entra)
• Microsoft 365 administration
