- Ensure all projects comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Implement and enforce compliance throughout the project lifecycle, conducting regular audits and inspections to promote a culture of safety and adherence to guidelines.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate advanced technologies into foundry processes. Identify opportunities for digital transformation and technological advancement, overseeing the implementation of initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all project participants to address concerns and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Provide clear and regular updates to stakeholders on project status, including progress, challenges, and achievements. Address stakeholder concerns and feedback promptly to ensure alignment with project goals and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain organized and comprehensive project documentation, including planning, execution, and completion records. Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders that include updates on progress, risk assessments, and issue resolutions to support transparency and facilitate future reference.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential challenges and obstacles. Develop and maintain risk management plans, adjusting strategies as needed to address emerging risks and minimize their impact on project goals.
- Create and review Statements of Work (SOWs) that define the scope and expectations for contractor services. Regularly assess contractor performance to ensure compliance withSOW terms and project specifications, taking corrective actions as needed to ensuresuccess.
- Develop and manage relationships with contractors and vendors to ensure high-quality service and timely delivery. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and address any issues or discrepancies to maintain project momentum and meet requirements.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and reduce waste. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve foundry operations, leading training sessions and workshops to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the foundry to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Utilize lean manufacturing principles and best practices to drive these improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and measure the impact of changes.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of capital expenditure projects, working with engineering and design teams to develop specifications and ensure technical requirements are met. Track expenses to ensure they are within budget and review financial performance against project goals.
- Oversee capital expenditure projects from inception to completion, including upgrades, replacements, and new installations of equipment and infrastructure. Conduct cost estimations, manage budgets, and evaluate project outcomes to ensure they meet business objectives and operational needs.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget by closely monitoring progress and implementing project management best practices. Prepare and present status reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and corrective actions needed.
- Lead the coordination of internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution. This involves organizing resources, managing schedules, and facilitating communication between all parties. Hold regular meetings with stakeholders to address any emerging issues and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans for foundry operations. This includes defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs. Regularly track progress against key milestones and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to adapt to changes and feedback.
