About the role

Overview

The Operations Consultant provides important assistance to assigned regional agencies. This role is the non-clinical role of the Operations team, performing routine operational and human resources audits, assessing state survey readiness of the agencies, and providing education/training related to established procedures and software issues to agency staff.  In addition to audits, the Operations Consultant performs onsite education and training related to HCHB software and company processes during integration of newly acquired agencies. Written communication skills and ability to self-manage time and task are important traits to have in this role for the company.

Responsibilities

1. Perform preliminary analysis of audit results; trend results accordingly.2. Assist branch leadership and staff with resolution of identified deficiencies; assist with implementing focused action plans, as necessary.3. Identify and propose necessary workflow modifications and action screen completion.4. Review branch progress relative to the wildly important goals.5. Be knowledgeable of information contained in company manuals, standard operating procedures, policies and procedures, and operational systems to be able to serve as an active resource for branch staff and operations teams.6. Participate in maintaining, updating, and recommending correction of deficiencies for all company manuals, standard operating procedures, policies and procedures, and operational systems.7. Determine effectiveness and develop appropriate modifications to company manuals, standard operating procedures, policies and procedures, and operational systems.8. Provide education and training related to established policies, procedures, and manual content to branch staff, as requested.9. Develop and execute in-services to ensure the education of branch employees.10. Act as a resource to branch employees; remain current on issues relating to industry standards including, but not limited to, state laws, regulatory forces, and trends.11. Assist with the implementation of new or updated laws and regulations, as requested.12. Assist with orientation of branch employees, as requested.13. Attend and participate in strategy and management meetings.14. Attend educational webinars, in-services, and seminars, as directed.15. Complete quality assessment performance improvement (QAPI) functions, as requested, including collating, interpreting, and acting on data.16. Complete all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Must possess a high school diploma. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

2. Must possess knowledge of office operations including payroll, computer data entry, billing processes, as well as human resources

3. Must be proficient in use of computers and be able to communicate effectively and convey thoughts in a way easily understood

4. Must be able to travel for extended periods of time
