As a Product & Technology Planning Coordinator - Senior Associate in the Product, Experience and Technology Finance organization, you will support key initiatives to drive operational excellence with a focus on financial and organizational transformation. Ensuring a proactive, coordinated and innovative delivery approach for our clients and stakeholders is paramount to our success. The Planning Coordinator scope of work enables you to partner closely with both product experience and technology groups. In this role, you must be a self-starter and have a style that fosters teamwork and collaboration with various stakeholders and partners. You are expected to demonstrate solid leadership skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong inter-personal skills as well as the proven ability to manage multiple projects with varying management level stakeholders.
Candidates must be able to physically work in our Wilmington, DE office 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.
Job Responsibilities
- Manages financial innovation and transformation initiatives with a strong focus on continuous improvement and delivers with clear business acumen
- Facilitates & Documents Planning-Related meetings (Working Sessions, Kanban Cadences, Scrum Ceremonies, Requirements Gathering/Story Refinement, Business Reviews/Status Calls, Retrospectives, etc.)
- Documents & communicates overall progress of initiatives, including - status, detailed presentations, issues/risks and other ad hoc reports/requests as required. Strong communication skills are a must in bringing business awareness to issues and their impacts
- Builds strong working relationships by partnering with planning teams, stakeholders, internal and external business partners
- Identifies, documents, and actively manages key risks, issues, and escalations
- Collaborates with technology, business, and stakeholders to help Define, Document, & Maintain roadmaps, tasks, milestones, roles and other measures of success
- Displays financial acumen (ability to understand financial concepts, apply critical thinking to solutions and translate complex concepts to both business, financial, and technical audiences
- Identifies opportunities for both modernization and process improvements including facilitating implementation of best practices across the organization
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- 4+ years of related project/program management experience as well as financial services, business, team leadership and/or technology experience
- Knowledge and understanding of financial concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability speaking/ presenting to various levels of management in both business and technology
- Proficient in project management and Agile related tools such as Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, JIRA, Teams, Excel, and Confluence
- Experience driving and resolving issues and managing risk to meet overall project goals and objectives
- Works autonomously – Excellent time management and organization skill with a clear demonstrated ability to multi-task and react in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
- Demonstrates flexibility, adapts to shifting priorities, embraces ambiguity and navigates through change positively while helping to remove challenges/blockers
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to tell a story with data and possesses a process improvement mindset
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Degree or additional relevant experience in Project Management, Finance, Business, Technology, or related fields or equivalent practical experience
- Prior success leading medium to large-scale agile projects and software development implementations
- Experience working with Technology and Business Management teams
