Senior Manager, Safety, Ethics, Compliance and Investigations

ABOUT THE ROLE
Peloton Interactive is looking for a driven, dynamic compliance professional to join our Safety, Ethics and Compliance team. This role will drive our Ethics and Compliance program globally and manage our internal investigation processes with other stakeholders. The Manager will help drive team processes such as conflicts of interest, gifts and business entertainment, training and awareness activities, and more. This role requires an ability to thoroughly understand Peloton’s multi-faceted business, particularly the applicable laws and regulations in the locations in which our team members work and the roles these team members perform, in order to support Peloton’s business objectives.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Partner with the Legal, People and other Teams to enhance Peloton’s compliance program and facilitate Peloton’s adherence to applicable laws concerning anti-bribery and corruption prevention.
- Manage administration of Peloton’s whistleblower program, including following up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of whistleblower line reports.
- Track and respond to complaints, investigations, and investigation remedial actions.
- Analyze data and trends related to investigations and whistleblower line reports.
- Support internal investigations teams and ensure consistent and timely completion.
- Maintain records of compliance activities.
- Assist the VP of Safety, Ethics, and Compliance prepare and distribute compliance reporting.
- Stay abreast of global employment and ethics related legislative and regulatory developments, and partner with the People and Legal teams to ensure that any necessary changes are made to our policies, procedures, postings, trainings, and Team Handbook.
- Conduct risk assessments periodically to assess major compliance risks; in partnership with People and Legal Teams, leverage outputs to identify and implement practical compliance process and procedure improvements.
- Partner with the Legal, Team Member Relations, People, Global Safety and Security Operations and other Teams to continuously improve our ethics and investigations policies and procedures. Direct, advise and conduct internal investigations, as appropriate.
- Work collaboratively across multiple functions with various internal stakeholders, develop compliance trainings for Peloton team members; document training certifications as required, and update trainings on a regular basis based on new or emerging risks.
- Perform other job functions as necessary to support Peloton’s growing Compliance Function.
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- J.D. degree preferred.
- At least 7 years of professional experience working in an Ethics and Compliance role in a corporate environment (prior government service is relevant as well).
- Strong ethics, integrity, and accountability with ability to maintain independence and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Demonstrated experience regarding compliance training and awareness activities.
- Proven ability to provide practical guidance and solutions with a view to optimization, efficiencies, and compliance as a business advantage.
- CCEP or equivalent compliance certification desired, but not required.
- Experience working with diverse employee populations, including corporate and field-based employees, a major plus.
- Must be an independent and strategic thinker who works collaboratively and is willing to take on additional responsibilities.
- Superb organizational skills and ability to manage projects concurrently while maintaining priorities and meeting deadlines.
- High degree of integrity.
Base Salary: $167,500.00 to $217,600.00
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
