Enterprise Security Operations Center Specialist

Position Summary: The Enterprise Security Operations Center Specialist will support the development of the security operations center. This role will focus on centralizing current and emerging security tools to highlight, mitigate and respond to various events, threats, and risks to the organization. The Specialist will investigate, document, and report on any information security (InfoSec) issues as well as emerging trends. This role is responsible to build internal processes to reduce downtime and ensure business continuity. The Specialist will analyze various data sources and identify patterns that may signify potential security threats against the company or associates and deploy response protocols.  The position will execute high-level enterprise-wide reports, assessments and provide recommendations to security leadership team.
Major Responsibilities:
Security Operations Center development/launch platform • Combine new and current security tools used by Penske into a centralized platform and center for reporting, investigations, and transparency across the enterprise. • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Threat & vulnerability analysis and response • Prioritize internal/external threats or events and provide an effective response plan. • Develop preventative plans to mitigate losses and risks. • Focus on continuous improvement by leveraging technology trends (such as ai) to proactively detect, monitor, research and respond to threats which have the potential to impact business operation. • Manage and maintain current security tools to ensure business continuity. • Facilitate collaboration and communication between Penske and local law enforcement, security agencies and other authorities.
Identify and administer security tools to deploy reporting, security assessments, and communications • Utilize crime data, risk assessments, weather alerts, national events, current security measures used internally. • Identify external tools or solutions for business continuity. • Communicate any vulnerabilities and solutions via reporting.

Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree required, with a concentration in Criminal Justice, Cyber or related field preferred. • Master's Degree preferred.  If no degree, equivalent work experience is required. • EC - Council Certified SOC Analyst • Cisco Certified CyberOps • 3 years of experience of Security Operations Center, Fusion/911 Center, Incident response investigations (internal/external), Security Analytics or Cyber Security required. • 2 years of experience in Threat/Risk Analytics and Project Management required • Must be proficient in using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions • Familiarity with other security tools including disaster recovery plans preferred  • Fusion Center/911 Dispatch and Open-source intelligence experience required • Must be proficient in Dataminr, ArcGIS, ESRI or similar tools • Threat Assessment analytics and supervisor experience required • Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to collaborate within the enterprise and report incidents to stakeholders within the organization • Must have strong clarity of speech when escalating events including documenting incidents as well as the suggested steps of remediation • Ability to quickly analyze information and identify patterns that may signify potential security incidents is crucial • Must have strong analytical and critical thinking skills • Proficiency in Microsoft suite required • Detail oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills • Ability to create spreadsheets, emails, and other departmentally required documents • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
