We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Reprographics , Copy and Print Lead to come grow with our team in New York, NY! This full-time position is ideal for someone with 3+ years of relevant experience looking for a stable place to work, learn, and develop. Schedule: Typically Monday - Friday with some flexibility.
What you will be doing:
- Performing functions/light maintenance on copy machines (printing/copying software, mailroom function, replacing paper/cartridges, toner, staples, etc).
- Operating binding equipment and performing finishing requests (cutting, binding, padding, etc.)
- Processing printing requests (both hard copy and electronic), locating printing orders, and preparing orders for shipping
- Support the onsite business center, which may include: office supply stocking, conference room setup up, pantry inventory, or light facilities, mail, or serving as backup to reception area.
- Proactively acknowledge and engage clients to provide a positive customer experience.Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint; perform basic PDF editing and use Microsoft Teams for communication.
- Sort, organize, and deliver incoming mail or notify recipients of deliveries via email.
- Collect and record incoming courier deliveries.
- Relocate deliveries to stockrooms, office spaces, or loading docks, including throughout the building.
- Lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
- Forward shipments to other offices using the company’s shipping portal.
- Review the print queue and complete print submissions.
- Review job orders to determine specifications, including quantities, production timelines, special instructions, and finishing.
- Inspect print requests for quality and accuracy.
- Assist with high-volume black & white and color printing, finishing, and delivery.
- Support poster printing, mounting, trimming, laminating, booklet binding, notepad creation, and other specialty print needs.
- Maintain print equipment in good working condition; make customer-approved repairs and coordinate service calls as needed.
- Monitor paper and supply inventory; notify the manager when items are low.
What we need from you:
- 1+ year experience working in a print/copy professional environment.
- A positive and professional attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond for our customers.
- Ability to handle physical duties (carrying and/or moving 50lbs) associated with the job - lifting, bending, etc.
- To be able to work both independently and in a team setting successfully.
- The capability to use/learn technology such as: handheld scanners, Adobe/Word, email, professional messaging (Teams, Slack, Google).
- An ability to be bright, articulate, and neat in appearance.
