Job Summary: The Clinical Manager is responsible for assessing, planning, evaluating, and coordinating patient care as well as the clinical care delivery process as directed by the (Nursing Services), Director or Service Coordinator. The Clinical manager serves as a role model and resource to staff. The Clinical Manager has twenty-four accountability for the assigned departmental operations.
3 IMC is a twenty-four bed Intermediate Care Unit cardiac specific unit. The registered nurse provides direct care to patients that require a higher level of care and continuous cardiac monitoring. The following types of patients are admitted to the unit; atrial/ventricle dysrhythmias, bradycardia/tachycardia events, post catheterization, post pacemaker placements, and heart failure patients.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of an approved registered nurse program.
- BSN or MSN degree required.
- Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina.
- Minimum of three years of nursing experience required with one year of experience being related to the patient population and/or specialty of the unit.
- Evidenced expertise in clinical judgement and leadership ability.
- Current AHA BLS certification required.
- Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
