Overview

As an Institutional Cash and Trade (ICT) Junior Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of our Institutional Cash Management division, playing a critical role in client service and transaction management. You will engage with clients daily on trade finance and cash management products, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. By supporting the sales team and acting as a backup during their travels, you will be integral to maintaining strong client relationships and facilitating business continuity. Your contributions will help us identify business opportunities and drive profitability, reinforcing our commitment to serving financial institutional clients effectively.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide support to Senior Account Client Owners (ACO) to support with client service, managing transactions and communicating with clients daily regarding Trade finance & Cash management products

  • Monitor revenue trends via various reporting tools like Salesforce and dbTableau

  • Support with the content and presentation quality of relevant client proposals, responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs), and client communications

  • Reviewing existing price schemes, conducting profitability analysis, and initiating respective action to ensure that Fixed Income (FI) customer relationships are profitable. Support with the execution on the trade Finance products (such as Letters of Credit (LC), guarantees, and collections), FI Financing, trade reimbursement services, structured short-term trade finance (e.g. Structured LCs)

  • Interacting / Cross-selling / Structuring with other areas of the bank, such as Risk Portfolio Management (RPM), Deal Management, Distribution and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

  • Analyzing trade flows & Institutional Cash Management (ICM) reporting data to identify business opportunities and increase wallet share

Skills You’ll Need

  • University degree (preferably with a major in economics, business administration, or similar field of study)

  • Client-centric attitude, while living the values of Integrity and Discipline in assuring the bank does not incur undesired financial, non-financial, or reputational risk

  • Proficiency (working level) in Portuguese would be considered a strong asset

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Ability to communicate effectively at varying levels of seniority (internally and externally)

  • Effective and concise communicator in English and Spanish (verbally/in writing) paired with good presentation skills

  • Motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills and multi-cultural understanding

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $97,000 to $160,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
