As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Atlantic City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrance areas, sales floor, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related issues.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Support loss prevention and customer assistance efforts by maintaining a visible presence, addressing routine questions, and communicating professionally with store leadership and/or first responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
