Job Summary

The Corporate Intern provides departmental support within the organization, working on tasks and projects as needed. This position offers students or recent graduates the opportunity to gain professional experience, apply academic knowledge, and develop skills in their chosen field. Under the guidance of assigned supervisors or mentors, the intern contributes to department goals and initiatives while gaining insight into corporate operations.

Essential Functions

  • Supports departmental projects and initiatives as directed, ensuring timely and accurate task completion.
  • Conducts research, compiles data, and assists in preparing reports or presentations relevant to departmental objectives.
  • Participates in department meetings and contributes ideas or feedback when appropriate.
  • Performs administrative and operational tasks such as data entry, document preparation, scheduling, or filing as needed.
  • Collaborates with department team members to resolve issues, improve processes, or achieve department-specific goals.
  • Engages in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge applicable to the assigned department.
  • Provides updates to supervisors or mentors on project progress and seeks guidance when necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university program in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, IT, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, etc.) required
  • Previous internship or work experience within a related field preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or department-specific tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, initiative, and a collaborative work ethic.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
