About the role

Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Senior Manager to join our Ops Transformation & Strategy team.

Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.

About the role

We are looking for a star Senior Manager to join our Ops Transformation & Strategy team. This is a high-powered team focused on creating value in Operations: increasing efficiency, reducing costs, reducing risk, driving increased revenue, increasing member and provider experience, and more. The team reports to the company COO and focuses on top priority areas of the business.

As a Senior Manager on the team, you will contribute to projects that span one or more areas within the Operations organization, such as: member and provider call centers, enrollment & billing, claims&benefits, provider data, utilization management, case management, and value capture. This work will be done in high collaboration with the leaders and teams in those areas and include diagnosing important issues and root causes within our operations and existing tech, assessing processes and capabilities end to end, and proposing a path towards a more optimal state with operational guides, targeted tech investments, and tools needed in order for teams to work top of license that would impact both profitability and operational excellence efforts.

You will report to the VP, Ops Transformation & Strategy.

This is a remote / work-from-home role.
