Staff Accountant

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Prepare and enter journal entries
• Prepare various balance sheet analysis workpapers
• Mastercard entries
• Participate in various cost savings initiatives
• Back up for Union Payroll
• Back up for Accounts Payable
• Customer Billing
• Record bank entries, manual checks, deposits
• Headcount reporting
• Assist in the Preparation of Financial Statements
• Reconciling Sub-ledgers to General Ledger Account Balances

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree, or higher in Accounting or Finance
• Advanced Excel Skills

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to work in a team, reliability and effective communication skills
• Hands-on personality
• Attention to detail
• Ability to Prioritize
