Summary



Processes daily, all filings received for the Public Charities Division of the Secretary of State's Office. This may include the filing of registration statements, applications for exemption, financial reports, contracts, and notice of solicitation for charitable organizations, raffles, professional fundraisers, fundraising counsel and commercial coventurers.

Answers telephone and email inquiries and assists walk-in customers regarding charitable organizations, raffles, and professional fundraisers.

This position will be responsible for opening, sorting, and stamping daily mail. Organizes, sorts and files all paperwork related to violations for charities, professional fundraisers and raffles.

Examples of duties

A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
Proficient in basic computer skills. Ability to communicate effectively.

Qualifications

Two (2) years of prior continuous customer service and data entry experience in a professional office environment.

Supplemental information

  • The starting salary for this position will be $40,000 - $45,000, depending upon experience.
