Pay Range

$35.50 - $53.25

Atrium Health Urgent Care Huntersville provides high-quality, compassionate care for patients of all ages, addressing a wide range of medical needs—from common illnesses like coughs and rashes to more urgent concerns such as sprains, fractures, and minor injuries.

Our dedicated team includes two providers (MD, DO, PA, or NP), one Registered Nurse, two Certified Medical Assistants, and a Radiologic Technologist.

The ideal candidate for our team is confident yet empathetic, able to communicate effectively—with or without an interpreter—and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Flexibility and a willingness to assist across roles are essential to ensuring exceptional patient care.

We’re Looking For:

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

3 Years of RN experience with Urgent Care, ED, ICU, preferred

Experience with Patient Population from newborns to geriatrics preferred

Preferred Language Skills Bilingual, with Spanish being the highest priority,

Bachelor’s in nursing preferred

What You’ll Do:

Three 12 hours shifts a week with every other weekend

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of patient flow management and be proficient or willing to learn in the following areas: lab work, triaging, drug screening, worker’s compensation, and patient education.

Additionally, excellent customer service skills are essential, including the ability to show empathy and provide a friendly demeanor when needed. The candidate should be able to work effectively within a team environment, accomplish solo tasks, and support the CMAs with higher acuity patients and issues.

This role oversees daily workflows for two clinical teams, supports 3 APPs, 4 physicians, and 6 clinical teammates, ensuring seamless coordination and compliance with standards.

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
