This position is located in Tallahassee, Florida
Position Overview and Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support to division staff to include but not limited to:
Preparing travel documents for staff and assisting travelers with all travel-related matters, including P-card transactions.
Maintaining par stock for supply room, ordering requested supplies, and maintaining copiers and supplies for copiers.
Serves as backup to answer division main phone lines as needed, answering telephone calls in a professional, courteous and effective manner and accurately transmitting information to the appropriate staff; receiving and distributing mail; shipping packages; making room and conference phone line reservations. Providing file research and records retention support.
Provides assistance with documents in both electronic and paper formats, including prepping and scanning files.
Provides assistance with workspace and equipment needs and assisting staff with property inventory tracking.
Provides assistance with DMS work order submissions by sending work orders to DMS maintenance crew for repairs and issues as needed.
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned which will include: Assists with coordinating and maintaining the Appraisal file room contents to include documents in both electronic and paper formats and prepping and scanning files.
Performs other assigned duties as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of: the principles and techniques of effective communication; the methods for organizing and presenting data. Skill in: using a computer with MS Office Applications including Outlook. Ability to: collect, record and analyze data relating to records or operational procedures; utilize problem-solving techniques; prepare reports; make decisions in a timely manner; understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures; plan, organize and coordinate work assignments; handle telephone calls in an effective and courteous manner; communicate effectively; establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; demonstrate teamwork; maintain a valid driver’s license.

Valid Driver’s License.
