Responsibilities:
The Production Engineering division is responsible for providing innovative processes and tools for the operation of our client’s high-frequency trading platforms.
The Trading Operations Engineer will be responsible for:
- Managing the widely-deployed OMS and market data delivery systems involving every major electronic exchange and asset class
- Contributing to the trading platform infrastructure code to address operational needs
- Developing tools to monitor & assess the quality of production environments as well as optimize & automate daily operations
- Solving problems by providing level 1 and level 2 support for our production systems
- Contributing to the design and implementation of the support system to enhance reliability and self-correction
- Working closely with traders to understand their needs
- Devising ways to architect and develop solutions
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Understanding of principles of automation, monitoring and reliability engineering.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell
- Knowledge of Linux
- Knowledge of SQL and use of databases
- Experience with troubleshooting and strong problem-solving abilities
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor’s, Master’s degree in Computer science or a related field

The salary range for this role is US$85,000 - US$150,000
