Levy is seeking Retail Sales Associates to join our team at the Field Museum at O'Hare Airport

In addition to providing excellent customer service, the Retail Associate will assist our visitors with finding merchandise, processing checkout procedures, and fulfilling store merchandise needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Engages with customers in a positive, service-oriented manner
• Provide customers with merchandise recommendations that are tailored to their needs and preferences.
• Executes checkout procedures, including; totaling merchandise, accepting payment types, and bagging merchandise
• Stocks shelves, counters, and tables with merchandise
• Stamps, marks, or tags prices on merchandise
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment; performs job safely
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required
• A minimum of 1-2 years of retail or customer service experience
• Must be able to work weekends
• Cash handling experience and strong math skills are required
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented demeanor
