Senior Accountant (Fully Onsite)
We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to deadlines. Requirements

• Knowledge of a Large Accounting system 
• BS in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a government contracting environment
• Knowledge of incurred cost proposals, government cost-type billings, disclosure statements, indirect costs, floor checks, and DCAA audits
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint and TM1 is a plus
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial

Responsibilities:

• Accounts receivable duties
• Cash forecasting
• Bank and order reconciliations
• Collections
• Inter-company invoicing
• Maintaining and processing commissions
• Managing sales orders, entries, and billings
• Performing journal entries
• Compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare entries for general ledger accounts
• Distributing expenditures, encumbrances, receipts, and receivables per schedules
• Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and internal procedures
• Providing backup support for other accounting tasks as needed
