Job Summary:
The TODO Lead is responsible for maintaining Technical Orders in accordance with AF TO 00-5-1 policy.

• Serves as the non-supervisory Lead Technical Order Distribution Office (TODO) focal point.
• Ensures administrative services for units or activity in the establishment and management of organizational TOs is completed effectively.
• Ensures TODO responsibilities with technical data are performed in accordance with TO 00-5-1 and all TOs and instructions in their entirety including Publication Change Requests (PCR), ETIMS, and distribution.
• Verifies System Access Request Forms are completed, finalize access request, file completed form for record, and forward user information to appropriate point of contact.
• Collaborate with Project Lead and Quality Control Lead to research and document TO policy changes for TODO/TODA functions.
• Ensures routine checks are completed as required for assigned technical data IAW with AF Policies.
• Acts as alternate TODO as needed.
• Responsible for safe handling of classified information.
• Assists with training as needed for end users within the organizational unit on access to electronic Technical Orders (eTOs)
• Compile routine reports and submit them as directed by the Project Lead.
• Assure coverage for off-shifts if needed (i.e. assign TODO or cover shift for absences).
• Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Ability:
• Must be able to successfully complete the TODO General and TODO Advanced Courses within 180 days of initial assignment.
• Complete and maintain all required training outlined by the organization.
• Ability to obtain security clearance or have an active security clearance.
• Experience with Technical Orders paper and eTO/eTool distribution and management associated with Air Force maintenance.
• Working experience with DoD in a Military, civilian, or contract position supporting DoD programs.
• Working knowledge of military industry and standards for product delivery.
• Must be skilled in the practice of U.S. Air Force and DoD contracting tools, documents, forms, and information systems.
• Knowledge and understanding of TO policies AFPD 20-1/63-1, AFI 63-101/20-101, TO 00-5-1, TO 00-5-3, and TO 00-5-18.
• Requires a self-starter with strong administrative skills.
• Strong computer skills that require navigating, troubleshooting, and operating government equipment.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Demonstrated skill in negotiation, building consensus and achieving compromise.
• Strong oral and written communications skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Dependable attendance.
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person status.
Office Location and Travel
This position is located at Tinker AFB.
Travel will not be required.
Working Environment & Conditions
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.
