General Summary – The Inventory Control Clerk assists in all aspects of material flow to
 ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time.

Description of Responsibilities

· Stock incoming components in proper locations

· Fill internal requests as needed for the production floor

· Maintain line clearance and segregation of parts

· Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database.

· Receive and issue goods into computer database

· Notifies supervisor of any quantity discrepancies 

· Monitor all items with shelf life daily and notify supervisor when material has expired

· Participate in physical inventory

Requirements

Desired Skills

· Able to work with limited supervision for routine tasks

· Good critical thinking, deductive reasoning, and decision making skills

· Basic knowledge of quality and supplier assurance 

· Strong demonstrated commitment to teamwork

Minimum Education Requirements

· High School Diploma / GED

· Minimum of one year of inventory control experience
