JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Commonwealth Campus Housing and Food Services at Penn State Behrend is seeking one management intern (Penn State graduate or post-graduate student preferred) with a Hospitality or Business-related degree.

The Housing and Food Services internship will provide an opportunity for application of knowledge acquired in the classroom while gaining meaningful professional experience. 

This two-semester internship begins Fall Semester 2024 and culminates Spring Semester 2025 with some negotiating on start and finish dates. The successful candidate will be paid $18.00 per hour and may be provided University Housing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism; strong customer service skills, excellent writing and communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Candidates should have completed their degree and be starting graduate studies or be ready to enter the workforce. 
  • The candidate must commit for both the Fall and Spring Semesters.
