Job Description:
AFS is seeking a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. This Engineer will build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.
The Work:
- Implement the tasks in the backlog (e.g. POA&M items, component upgrades, feature requests, bug fixes)
- Review changes to the baseline
- Update the Body of Evidence (BOE) with each release
Here's what you need:
- BS in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics OR without a degree have at least 5 years’ experience as an engineer
- At least 1 year experience using agile methodologies in the system development life cycle
- 1 year experience with Infrastructure-as-Code / Configuration-as-Code
- 1 year experience with Commercial Cloud Services
- 1 year experience with Kubernetes
- DoD privileged user account on a TS/SCI information system – meets DoD 8140 / 8570.01-m requirements
Security Clearance:
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role
California: $105,200 - $168,400
Colorado: $105,200 - $145,500
New York City: $121,700 - $168,400
Washington: $112,100 - $154,900
