JOB SUMMARY:
The Connections and Groups/Classes Coordinator assists in leading the Connections and Groups teams, creating environments that foster spiritual growth and community engagement. You will support the Connections and Groups/Classes Director in delivering a high-quality "Welcome Home" experience, helping guests take their next step in their journey at Christ Fellowship. Additionally, you will oversee campus groups and classes, ensuring participants grow in their relationship with God and others through encouragement, scripture, prayer, and accountability.
JOB DUTIES
- Connections Leadership: Implement the Central Connections strategy across weekend services and campus events, ensuring a welcoming experience from the street to Journey.
- Volunteer & Team Leadership: Collaboratively manage volunteer teams (Journey, Dream Team Kickoff, Host Teams, Group Leaders, etc) through onboarding, training, and appreciation. Foster a culture of growth through interest, onboarding, orientation, and follow-up with guests and volunteers.
- Journey, Dream Team Kickoff, and Baptism Process: Provide administrative and logistical support including scheduling, data entry, event/class booking, hospitality, and inventory.
- Groups & Classes: Provide administrative and logistical support including scheduling, data entry, event/class booking, hospitality and inventory, as well as maintain the accuracy of all data and follow-ups in our relationship management system for Groups and Classes at your location.
- Event Promotion & Support: Collaboratively promote Groups & Classes via events, connect weekends, and weekend lobby opportunities. Provide logistical and administrative support for all campus events, including data entry, team coordination, and event booking.
- Data & Metrics: Maintain accurate data for groups and connections, tracking engagement, next steps, and volunteer follow-up.
CAMPUS SPECIFICS:
- Lead small and large gatherings as directed by the campus pastor (e.g., Huddles, classes, events).
- Coordinate and promote on-site studies, helping connect members to offsite groups.
- Provide logistical support for the campus team, including social media, event coordination, and volunteer leadership.
EDUCATION:
2-4 years of ministry-related experience with volunteer team development
RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree preferred
JOB SPECS:
Classification: Full-time, Salaried (Exempt) | Including weekends and some weeknights
