What will you do?
A day in the life of an Associate Planner at Vans looks a little like this.
As an Associate Planner, you will be empowered to create, communicate and execute strategic plans to drive financial results. Collaboration with the Planning, Buying and Allocation as well as other cross functional business partners will position you to maximize sales and create inventory plans which will delivery turn targets and profitability. You will support the financial goals for Vans Americas including the markets of US and Canada.
Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.
Perform pre and in season planning activities including MFP and OTB for a category/gender/channel/market
Sales & Inventory Reporting – Supports regional planners by gathering, analyzing, and consolidating sales, inventory, and replenishment data to identify trends and opportunities.
OTB & Financial Support – Assists in tracking and updating Open-to-Buy (OTB) budgets, monitoring inventory levels, and flagging potential risks or opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Works closely with regional buying, allocation, and supply chain teams to ensure proper inventory distribution and replenishment.

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 2+ years of experience and professional achievements.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
Proven Planning experience in an Omni, Multiple Retail Concept environment.
Strong analytical and communication skills including the ability to read, analyze and interpret retail reports.
A proactive business management approach, completing all assignments and job duties in a timely manner.
