The Center of Excellence within the ADMT LLC focuses on applied research and pre-development with the goal of evaluating and/or develop and transfer innovative technology from industries and research institutions into the autonomous driving domain for technology/supplier decisions and to build the strategic base for a further development of a VW Group owned vertical, integrated AD-stack.
Law Enforcement Liaison - Must reside within Los Angeles County, CA
Role Summary
The Law Enforcement Liaison will serve as the primary point of contact between the company and law enforcement agencies. This person will advise the company on understanding and addressing law enforcement concerns, lead workshops and trainings with first responders, lead the drafting of company documentation including the First Responder Interaction Plan (FRIP) and training materials. They will liaise closely with German counterparts to develop a universal approach, when possible, to law enforcement interactions. They will participate in and represent the company in international standard and best practice setting bodies. This role is critical for building relationships, facilitating information sharing, supporting safe operations, developing or updating foundational company procedures and documents, and ensuring effective coordination during incidents or emergencies involving our technology.
Role Responsibilities
First Responder Engagement and Support
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with law enforcement agencies at the local, regional, and state levels.
• Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries from law enforcement regarding company operations, technology, or incidents.
• Update the First Responder Interaction Plan and keep it up to date, and draft other related documentation such as training materials.
• Provide briefings, training, or demonstrations to law enforcement about the company’s technology and safety protocols.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Coordinate with team (GOES) developing comprehensive training documentation for vehicles and drivers, to contribute first responder interaction plan and other related components.
