LPN - Long Term Care - Child Center

LPN – Long Term Care at Providence Child Center in Portland, Oregon. This is a day shift, per diem position offering 12-hour shifts (7:00am - 7:30pm), with rotating weekends and holidays.   

Our Long-Term Care unit within the Child Center has a total of 46 beds, serving both pediatric and adult patients. We care for a unique and diverse population of medically fragile individuals, ranging from children with complex developmental and neurological conditions to adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Some of our residents require long-term ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and all require some assistance with activities of daily living. Our team is deeply committed to providing compassionate, resident-centered care in a nurturing environment.

Under the supervision of a registered professional nurse, administers routine services in caring for selected acute, sub-acute, chronic and convalescent patients.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved school for practical nurses.
• Upon hire: Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse 
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 
• 1 year of LPN Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training and IV Therapy course and competency demonstration.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
