We are seeking an Instructional Designer to join our expanding eLearning Design and Innovation Group (eLDIG) team. The ideal candidate will thrive in collaborative environments and be excited to learn alongside instructors, fellow instructional designers, multimedia specialists, and instructional production specialists to create engaging learning experiences in response to Smeal’s growing online, residential, large-enrollment, and hybrid portfolios.  

The successful candidate should be a creative and innovative thinker who can apply research-based learning and adult learning theories, universal design principles, and best practices for developing courses for working professionals.  

What we are looking for: 

• A strong foundational knowledge of learning science and instructional design to assist faculty in the design and development of the College’s teaching and learning efforts.
